About Orwig Marketing Strategies
Orwig Marketing Strategies specializes in effective, targeted
marketing communications. Our clients include Fortune 500 corporations, family
businesses, nonprofit organizations and government agencies.
For some, we design and administer a complete marketing
communication program. For others, we provide individual services such as brochure
development, website design or public relations services.
While our clients are diverse, each shares a common
conviction: Results-oriented marketing communication is their lifeblood.
Ken Orwig
Ken Orwig has over three decades of practical experience
in developing and implementing branding and marketing plans for a broad range
of product and service categories. In addition to his experience as a strategist,
he is an accomplished copywriter and graphic designer.

Ken's work has appeared in all major media and been published
in numerous business-to-business magazines as well as consumer publications ranging
from Better Homes and Gardens to The Wall Street Journal. He has
been awarded multiple Addys and many other design honors. Ken's corporate design
work has been featured in American Corporate Identity, an international
reference book for graphic designers.
Ken Orwig served as Marketing Chairman and a member of the Executive Committee
of United Way of Greater Toledo for eight years. He has served on the Public
Relations/Communication Committee of the Greater Toledo Chapter, American Red
Cross for thirty years. Ken is also a past chairman of both the Public Relations
Committee and the Vocational Service Committee of the Rotary Club of Toledo.
He is a graduate of Georgia Tech.
Julia Orwig, APR
Julia Orwig has 20 years experience in the development and
implementation of public relations strategies for clients in the corporate, non-profit
and government sectors. Her work for clients has received awards from the Association
for Women in Communications and the Press Club of Toledo.

Julia holds the Accredited in Public Relations (APR)
designation. The APR designation is administered by the Universal Accreditation
Board of the Public Relations Society of America. This professional accreditation
is awarded to a select group of public relations professionals who have demonstrated
their commitment to the profession and its ethical practice, and who have been
selected based on broad knowledge, strategic perspective, and sound professional
judgment. Fewer than 5% of public relations practitioners in the United States
hold the APR accreditation.
Julia Orwig is a trustee of The Medical College of Ohio Foundation. She is a past
board member of Leadership Ohio and a past president of the Junior League of Toledo.
Julia is a member of the Public Relations Society of America and is a graduate
of Agnes Scott College, Decatur, GA.
